Cookies
To enable the Services to function as intended, improve your experience and personalise your visits, we sometimes store small data files called “cookies” on your device. Most companies use cookies on their websites and similar local storage and identification technologies in Mobile Applications to improve usability and provide specific features (for example, a cookie may remember a password so you do not need to enter it on every visit). This is standard practice on websites worldwide.
Mobile Applications may use technologies similar to cookies, including local storage, session storage, SDK identifiers, mobile identifiers and other on-device storage technologies necessary for the operation, security and improvement of the Services.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files sent to your browser by a web server and stored on your device so that the relevant service can recognise the computer or other device you use to access it.
There are two types of cookies: persistent cookies and temporary or session cookies. Persistent cookies are stored as files on your computer or mobile device for an extended period. Session cookies are placed on your computer temporarily when you visit our Services and disappear when you close the page, meaning they are not permanently stored on your device.
Cookies cannot harm your files or increase the risk of computer viruses.
How do we use cookies?
Cookies are used to adapt the content of the Services to User preferences and optimise their use. They are also used to compile anonymous statistics about User behaviour within the Services in order to improve their structure, design, appearance and content.
Media Land may permit the use of third-party cookies. These include cookies associated with software products that record anonymous User statistics (Google Analytics, Hotjar and others).
Cookies associated with social buttons and plugins enable pages to be shared and Users to interact with social networks. To operate these tools, social networks (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others) may set cookies through the Services that interact with a User's anonymous profile on the relevant network or add information to the data collected in ways and for purposes described in their respective policies and websites.
Certain embedded content displayed through the Services but provided by third parties (such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) may use cookies to collect anonymous information.
Advertising networks may also be used, including AdWise, Google AdSense, Google DFP, HTTPool and EasyAds.
Media Land has no access to or control over cookies used and provided by third parties. This Policy does not govern how those third parties collect and process information. Please review their respective policies to understand their practices.
How can you control and/or delete cookies?
Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but if you do not wish to accept them, you can configure your web browser to reject them. Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, usually under “Options”, “Settings” or “Preferences”. You can delete cookies already stored on your device and configure most browsers to block them entirely. If you do so, you may need to adjust certain settings manually each time you visit a website or use a service, and some services or features may not work.
Please note that restricting cookie permissions may prevent the Provider from offering all Service features in full. Some cookies are essential for the proper operation and security of the Services and cannot be restricted or disabled except by discontinuing use of the Services.
